Associação Portuguesa de Educação nas Prisões cancel first national congress

The EPEA Branch of Portugal (APEnP) would have held its 1st National Congress in Chaves, May 1-3 (2020).

The Congress was an accredited event with expected participation of 120 delegates from Portuguese Higher Education institutions (Lisbon, Coimbra, Porto, Braga, Vila Real,…) and prison teachers from associated schools.

Invited speakers were also expected from the EPEA and countries like Brazil, Mozambique and Spain, who would have covered subjects on Prison Education, Research, Projects, Reintegration Policies and Health Care.

The President of APEnP, José Pinto states:
