The FORINER project is a European project that aims to provide education to European foreign national prisoners. During the project, creative and ambitious solutions will be designed and piloted to provide European foreign national prisoners with access to education that is offered by their home country, but received by the prisoner in the country in which he/she is imprisoned. Both ICT-driven and non-ICT-driven projects will be developed. More information about the project and the search for partners to set up pilot projects can be found in the leaflet (see attach).

Before setting up these pilot projects, we are looking into the initiatives that are taken in European countries to provide education to their European foreign national prisoners and the ICT-facilities that are available. We would kindly ask you to forward this survey to people who might be interested in this topic (e.g. the local branches of EPEA who can forward the survey to educational providers/ prison managers in their own country). These people can fill in the online survey on behalf of the prison in which they are working. The questionnaire is available in the following languages: Dutch, English, German and French. People can choose the language on the first page.

This is the link to the questionnaire: https://www.vub.ac.be/surveys/index.php/742949/lang-en. It takes around 10 minutes to complete the survey and people can fill it in until the 31st of March.

Thank you in advance for sending this survey to others who might be interested. If you have any questions, please contact the coordinator: foriner@vocvo.be.

Best regards,
