The Portuguese Prison Education Association (APEnP) is pleased to announce its latest Magazine that includes the following articles:

Presentation of the conclusions of the 1st APEnP International Congress – an event that took place in Montijo (02-04 April 2024) and brought together more than 200 participants.

EPEA Steering Committee Meeting (Copenhagen, 07-09 June 2024) – this meeting discussed various measures to be taken up by EPEA in the near future.

The 2024 EPALE Community Stories Initiative (‘Tell us your story’) – an invitation to join the EPALE community and tell us how your work contributes to successful changes in the lives of inmates.

Animal-Assisted Interventions – a new scientific study supporting the benefits of animal-assisted therapy for the wellbeing of inmates in Funchal Prison.

Erasmus+ Projects in Prisons – international projects involving several organisations, including APEnP, with an impact on prisons.

Activities in prisons – activities carried out in prisons, showing the involvement of the prison education community in Portugal.
