UNESCO – International Review of Education (IRE)

with No Comments

In 2013, a decision was made to shift the focus of the International Review of Education (IRE) – the oldest journal of comparative education in the world – towards closer alignment with the work of its parent institution, the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning. Since then, IRE has given priority to research that explores ways in which the idea of lifelong learning is reflected in education policy and practice throughout the world.

Hugo Rangel, who is a Guest editor of the International Review of Education, is currently working on prison education issue for the IRE – UNESCO journal and would appreciate any collaboration from researchers on this project. Please submit any paper to be published in this special issue to Hugo. The deadline: April 20, but the sooner items are received, the better.

IRE UNESCO journal prioritizes research or policy papers, however, here you can find all instructions for authors :  here.

Thank you for your collaboration.
