Every 2 years, the EPEA holds its International Conference in a different European country so that members and non-members can come together to explore topical issues; experience new approaches and innovations, and highlight good practice in the field of prison education.
The EPEA Steering Committee is beginning to plan for the 19th International EPEA Conference to be held in 2025, and is inviting organisations, agencies or institutions interested in hosting this conference to contact us.
The benefits of hosting the conference are many. In addition to enhancing the international reputation of the host organisation, it provides an opportunity to showcase new developments and innovations, to forge international links, and to help shape the future development of prison education across Europe and beyond.

- Submit a formal bid by 29th February 2024, according to the accompanying guidelines and any information provided by the Chairperson.
- The EPEA Steering Committee will reach a decision on the successful applicant by 28th April 2024, and will contact shortlisted applicants for a more detailed discussion before then.
