The Norwegian prison teacher organisation FOKO is having their annual conference for the 320 members from October 21, 2015. This is the 20th conference in FOKOs history. The main topics at this conference are radicalism in prison and mental healthcare among prisoners. 260 participants from all of Norway are gathering at Sundvolden Holtel 21-23. October.
FOKO is an active branch of the EPEA and will at the conference elect two members as Liaison Persons for the EPEA. The Chair of FOKO Hilde Larsen and FOKO Secretary Paal Brevik are seeking reelection.
The EPEA embrace the wish of FOKO to be more close to the EPEA and use the EPEA resources more, like using the EPEA website for publishing activities and inviting key persons in EPEA to their events.
FOKO has a scholarship to attend the national conference and the bi-annual EPEA conference. The scholarships will be announced at the FOKO conference.
A report from the conference will be published on the EPEA website.
